Ski club Ústí nad Orlicí

The full name of the Club is Ski klub Usti nad Orlici. In common written correspondence is used a shorter name - Ski club. The Club is a voluntary self-governing civil association with the goal to satisfy its interests in ski sport in terms of the Czech Ski Federation. The Club has a corporate body position according to law 83/90 Collection of Law. Its residence is in Usti nad Orlici, Letohradska 1359 its activity is in the Czech Republic territory. The organization division has its residence in Ski centrum in Ricky v Orlickych horach.The basic goal of the club activity is to establish conditions in order to satisfy interests of its members in ski sport, to keep a social intercourse among its members and a protection of their rightful needs and rights toward other physical and corporate bodies. To achieve these objects the club does following activities:

• organizes and provides a sport training on skies for its members and other related sports activity aimed mainly on the youth,
• practises an active sport and race activity in ski racing in the Czech Republic or abroad, arranges ski races on all levels including international,
• arranges ski races on all levels including international,
• arranges social gatherings for its members,
• associates voluntarily and cooperates with sports organizations,
• runs business activity according to the Trade Law no. 451/91 Collection of Law in following spheres:
  - cableways and ski lifts operation,
  - accommodation services,
  - ski binding repair and adjustment,
  - left-luggage room,
  - goods purchase in order to its further sale and a sale,
  - ski school.
  
  In the period between the generall meetings, an eleven-members comitee - elected by the generall meeting - manages and is responsible for the club activity. A chairman, two deputy chairmans, and an executive are entitled to act as a statutary representative of the Ski club comitee.

  The Ski club associates about 500 members at the moment. Thereof 35 race-team members and 10 coaches. The Ski club arranges anually a big amount of sports and social gatherings. The best known is the international pupils ski race called Skiinterkriterium. Over 200 racers from 20 countries take part every year. This race ranges on the 5th place in the world from the view of participation. Further, amongs others, the Ski club arranges a republic pupils race and from the social gatherings for example Sports balls - organized together with the Tennis club.
